Using Microsoft Teams for External Communication

Hi there, Do you allow your users to communicate with external contacts via Microsoft Teams? What are the potential challenges, advantages, and disadvantages of doing so? I assume that not many companies permit this—would love to hear your thoughts. Thanks!

I'm not sure how common it is to use Microsoft Teams for communication between companies. From what I’ve seen, most companies primarily use it for internal purposes. While it can certainly speed up interactions with customers and vendors, it may also increase the workload on employees and reduce their efficiency. The line between internal and external communication could become blurred. That said, I understand there may be different perspectives on this.
